There were a lot of bad calls in this game against both teams but the TD was not one of them. Jennings and Tate both went up for the ball and both got two hands on it. When they hit the ground they both had two hands on the ball. Only after they landed on the ground did Jennings wrestle control of the ball away from Tate but it doesn't matter because the play ended as soon as they touched the ground and were down by contact. When the play ended they both had possession and the tie goes to the offense. All the wrestling they did once they were on the ground didn't mean a thing because the play was already dead. TD was the right the call based on the simultaneous possession rule.
