They've played above par for the first 5 games, enough to warrant a minute comparison amongst some of the above-average/elite safeties we've had. Guys like Paul Krause(6 time pro bowl, 7 time all pro, record 81 ints), Robert Griffith(2 time all pro) and Darren sharper. Yes. Darren sharper. He provided heightened above par play with INTS. Now, not to say I despise him after he left for the 'aints. I'd punch him in the street.....wait...probably get KO'ed by his insanely more fit body than mine. He's ok on NFL Network right? Yeah he sucks, you're right. However, 5 games does not a season make nor does it create the "future." We've received several gifts up front due to NFL scheduling.
