The Vikings knew they would need a big day from Adrian Peterson to win without Percy Harvin. And they got a big day from Adrian Peterson. Adrian did what Adrian does. He pecked away and pecked away for awhile, then when he got his chance, he exploded. A 61-yard TD run to put the game away for the Vikes. But despite what everyone expected, it wasn’t all Peterson today for Minnesota. The passing game also did its part, thanks largely to Jarius Wright and Kyle Rudolph. Oh and Christian Ponder who had possibly his best game of the season. So I guess the Vikings can put points on the board without Percy Harvin. Good to know.
