Is Percy Harvin Going To Play? It Doesn't Look Good.

The news is still not very good on Percy Harvin. He suited up on Thursday but did not participate in drills in front of the media. There was speculation that he might get work after the media portion of practice but Leslie Frazier later confirmed that he did not participate at all. Not a surprise given the reports about Harvin’s mobility or rather lack of mobility. Reporters on the scene, including Kevin Seifert, said Harvin didn’t look good even walking around. The limp was still noticeable.

Frazier indicated that the Vikes would try again on Friday to get Harvin some work. My advice to Frazier and the Vikes? Just shut Percy down. I know they still have playoff aspirations and it’s the Packers at Lambeau and you want all your big guns out there. But Harvin’s future value is just too great. Why risk him for one game? If I’m Rick Spielman I’m stepping in and saying no Percy until he’s close to 100%. If he’s gimping around out there he’ll just get hurt again. You know he won’t take himself out.
