Here’s some good injury news to brighten your Thursday. A.J. Jefferson has passed his concussion tests and is fully cleared. Jefferson went down against the Bears and was initially not cleared, prompting fears that he would not make it on the field for Sunday. But Jefferson’s symptoms went away and now he’s back to full participation in practice. So the Vikes don’t have to worry about rolling with Marcus Sherels at cornerback on Sunday.
And now something to make you a little nervous. Adrian Peterson was held out of practice on Thursday with an abdominal strain. But don’t worry too much. Adrian will be back at practice on Friday and is expected to be full-go on Sunday. Adrian sits at 1600 yards even which makes the math very easy. He needs 400 yards in 3 games to reach 2,000. I figured that out without a calculator.
