Percy Harvin Had an Emergency Appendectomy

Percy Harvin went into the hospital on Saturday not to have surgery on his injured ankle but to have his appendix removed. Harvin tweeted about his impending “minor surgery” on Saturday and everyone assumed it was related to the ankle. But turns out it was an appendectomy. Leslie Frazier revealed this news on Sunday before the game.

And there’s your weekly Percy Harvin health update. Even when Percy’s on IR, there’s always something new to report. What will it be next week? Chicken pox? Strep? Goiter? Maybe Percy should hire a live-in nurse. “Wanted: Nurse to care for oft-injured NFL player in his home. Duties include making sure ankle stays elevated. Monitoring cereal intake. Administering ‘medication.’ Must be willing/able to inhale large amounts of smoke without passing out. Females preferred.”
