Sure Urlacher dropped off last season but he was injured off and on all year. His production in 2011 was on par with his production throughout his career. He's not far removed from that. If he's healthy I'm sure he can still play at a high level. If the Vikes are looking at him it's probably only for a year or two to bring some experience in at LB until they can find an actual MLB in the draft. On top of that, who start this rumor if it wasn't true? Why? To convince the Bears to resign him? I'm not sure that would even work, the Bears seem ready to move on from him.
