The Vikings are two-thirds of the way through the process of signing their draft picks. On Wednesday they made it official with three more. Punter Jeff Locke and offensive linemen Jeff Baca and Travis Bond are now signed, sealed and delivered. They’re ready to lock and load. As they say.
The newly signed draft picks join Gerald Hodges, Michael Mauti and Everett Dawkins who were inked on Tuesday. This leaves only the Vikings’ trio of first rounders – Sharrif Floyd, Xavier Rhodes and Cordarrelle Patterson – unsigned.
Those deals will certainly get done in the coming days. Once those formalities are completed, we can begin looking forward to training camp.
