Good Guy Vikings Build a Playground

It was an organized team activity of a different kind. On Thursday several Viking players including Adrian Peterson traded footballs and shoulder pads for shovels and hammers and helped build a playground at Howe Elementary School in Minneapolis.

A good time was had by all especially Cordarrelle Patterson who volunteered his services as a swing-tester. That used to be Phil Loadholt’s job until all the swings broke.

But Patterson’s working day didn’t end with swing-testing. He also tried his hand as a videographer as this image courtesy of @Vikings attests.

Cordarrelle certainly knows how to enjoy himself. Let’s hope he spreads as much merriment on the field on Sundays as he did on Thursday. Then we’ll all be happy. Here’s a little slideshow of images via Twitter:
