Adrian Peterson Wins Two ESPYs, Loses Best Male Athlete to LeBron James

It was a good night and a bad night for Adrian Peterson at the ESPYs. The good: He won a pair of ESPYs, one for best NFL player and one for best comeback player. The bad: he lost out on the big prize, best male athlete. LeBron James took home that particular award instead.

Now let’s debate whether Adrian deserved to win best male athlete instead of LeBron. Actually I’ve got a better idea. Why don’t I boil a big pot of water on the stove and stick my head in it?

I’m assuming there are people out there who are actually upset about Adrian losing the ESPY to LeBron? Here’s my advice for you: Get off Twitter. Do something constructive with your time. Like, I don’t know, play Xbox?

Of course we know awards like the ESPYs are silly. Adrian doesn’t need some made-up accolade in order to be great. Want to know how great he is? Just ask the Packers. Some of those guys are still dealing with nightmares.

Anyway, congrats to Adrian Peterson on his two ESPYs. Look forward to seeing more amazing work from this guy in the coming months.
