Some bad news to report on Jarius Wright: the promising young Vikings receiver suffered a concussion in Friday night’s game and will be held out under the NFL’s concussion protocols. Wright will have to pass the tests in order to be cleared for practice. Obviously his status for this weekend’s game vs. San Francisco is up in the air.

Concussions are never good things, especially when you start piling them up over time. But for now Leslie Frazier is not that concerned about Wright. “He has go through the NFL concussion protocol and hopefully we’ll have him back at the end of the week. We think he should be fine over time,” Frazier said.

Other injury news for the Vikings: Matt Kalil is suffering from a sore knee (that’s all we have on that; it’s a sore knee). On the positive side, Jerome Felton is back with the team a few days after undergoing an emergency appendectomy.
