The Vikings were getting it done offensively? You really just said that? Did you see the red zones stats for Ponder? He’s horrible. Comparing the Vikings scoring is directly related to where Ponder had been giving the other offense the ball. Short fields for Vikings opponents led to many points as did special teams terrible play. Put the blame where it belongs for the losses this season. On Christian Ponder! Don’t forget that the defense has gotten turnovers and, but Ponder has given back as many as the defense got. The defense scored as did the special teams. That’s 14 points of the 81 scored…This doesn’t bode well for Ponder moving forward!

Freeman is hitting less than 50% passing…PASS!

The dude with the lisp is a dope! Cassel played lights out and we saw the playbook opened up. Quit defending Ponder!

Agreed! I can’t see how there can be a quarterback contraversy… If Cassel went out and did Slightly better than Ponder then sure but, he didnt… Cassel went out and had a great game!(123 Passer Rating… really?!) He made throws Ponder just cant make. I cant see why people arent more excited, I was concerened with Cassel looking like he did in KC last year but, We got a guy who has reignited this teams spark and if he stays consistant then there is no telling whats possible this season. Our QB doesnt need to be a play maker, he just has to get the ball into the playmakers hands… and thats what Cassel did. With Ponder our D gets so winded after the 3 and outs its no wonder we lose games in the last minutes. If an offensive drive last 19 seconds your D is gonna struggle. We had a little trouble with that in the 4th quarter still but, we ate up time on offense.

Finally someone that has a decent capacity for reasoning! Thanks Bob!
