1st off Kyle, you miss the entire point. Freeman was paid 3 million to play QB. You point out everything that Gruden said. Don’t you have any original thoughts?…You blame Frazier, yet Spielman pulls the strings. If you listen to Frazier you clearly see a players mentality and taking the blame for the shortcomings of this team. Good players do this all the time. They accept the blame…Frazier said in his interview last week, that changing QB was not his decision alone. The Wilfs and GM made the call on Freeman. It was against what Frazier wanted to do. He wasn’t for signing Freeman in the 1st place…

You have no clue what’s going on with this line? Come on guys! Kalil is hurting, Sully is returning from injury. Johnson and Fusco are horrible, and Loadholt, he’s a fat tub of goo. Johnson got walked back EVERY passing play…They aren’t blocking well, period…What rotation with Webb? Your an ass! The left tackle is the only position that Webb plays. He was let go from Chicago for a reason. Ask Cutler, he thumped Webb last year on national TV. He’s not very good, but he was better than other options…

Freeman was put in a bad position. I, for one, though that Cassel on Monday would have been the better option. Freeman’s main issue was that he doesn’t have the quick release that would be required to be successful the way the line played. I really like the way he stayed in the pocket. He took the blows play after play standing in. Given the time, for receivers to get open, he’ll begin to make plays. The WRs didn’t do a great job helping Freeman out when he did scramble. Don’t forget Simpson dropped a sure TD on a beautiful pass.

Spielman is the guy responsible and should be fired. He put Frazier in a bad spot. Given I don’t believe he’s a great coach. Musgrave, was put in a bad spot to try to showcase what Freeman does well, even though the o-line is garbage, and AP is less that 100%. Williams is put in a bad spot playing cover 2 with less than adequate DBs. You say “next man up.” Depth is a great thing unless you have to play with it. The Salary Cap tends to limit depth. The best teams depth wise have the best special teams. Think that’s a coincidence? Yeah, probably not! Watch the Vikings special teams. They are OK at best. Talent returning kicks makes them look better than they are. The Vikings special teams have hurt way more than they have helped this season…Doesn’t matter all should be gone next year.

The defense played well vs. a horrible giant offense. The Vikings merely blitzed or showed blitz vs. the A gap with 2 LBs. A ploy that has given the Giants fits all year. They did finally beat it when it mattered most. The safety valve to Hillis ended the competitive part of the game. Had they gotten the Giants off the field then they still had a chance. I’m not saying the Vikings would have scored, but it was the Giants!
Let’s be honest. The players aren’t making plays and the coaching staff is held accountable for that and that isn’t really fair. The defense was in position to make plays. If Sherels makes the INT and returns it for 6, who knows. One thing for sure, Sherels doesn’t fumble on the next play giving the Giants the game! The NFL season turns on a dime. Losing the 1st two games set a tone the Vikings can’t get away from. They are simply not that good. They do have talent, but they lack it where it matters most. Up front offensively, and the LB positions, and in the secondary…Fire Spielman NOW!

Thanks for listening. It’s so frustrating to do so many negative shows in a row. As a die-hard Vikings fan, to be so negative about so many aspects of the team so early in the season is kind of heart breaking. I’m hoping that we can be a little more positive after the Green Bay game…my fingers are crossed.
