In a confusing move, the Minnesota Vikings have parted ways with cornerback Bobby Felder.  Felder was impressive during preseason, but an ankle injury placed him on injured reserve.

It is unknown what the Vikings have to gain from releasing Felder.  Since he was on injured reserve, he didn’t count against the roster in terms of salary cap or number of players.  He still has a lot of talent, and perhaps he is healthy enough to return but wouldn’t see the field as a Viking this year. At this point, all that can be done is to speculate.

But we at The Viking Age wish Bobby Felder the best of luck in going forward with his career.
