The Minnesota Vikings have signed defensive end Spencer Nealy to the team’s practice squad. This isn’t Nealy’s first time with the Vikings, and could be a valuable asset to develop on the practice squad.
He played his college football at Texas A&M, where he earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors as a defensive end. Nealy was best known for his ability to disrupt plays in the backfield during his NCAA career. It is no surprise that he chose Texas A&M since he attended Reagan High School in San Antonio.
Considering how the Minnesota Vikings could be in trouble at the defensive end position after this season, they should explore as many options as possible to prepare for the future at the position.
