  • Refusing To Submit To A Chemical Test (3rd Degree)

The major problem with his arrest really has nothing to do with the DWI.  People get busted for drinking and driving all the time.  It is the conditions of his probation regarding his previous drug related conviction that is causing all the hooplah.  Simpson could be facing prison time if it is found that his DWI broke the rules of his probation where he isn’t allowed to consume alcohol.

Vikings head coach Leslie Fraier says Simpson will be active and will play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.  Fans can still expect rookie Cordarrelle Patterson to get more playing time in the place of Simpson, which is something the team was trying to do anyway.
