Greg Jennings was a surprise scratch from the game last week against the Seattle Seahawks with an injured achilles tendon. Not much word got out about the injury prior to his deactivation, but most assumed it was a minor injury that would probably just keep him out of one game.
Well, that might not be the case. His status for the Vikings game against the Green Bay Packers is in doubt.
The veteran wide receiver sat out practice on Wednesday, which leads to doubt that he will be good to go on Sunday. He will need to be cleared before returning for action, which might not happen before the final injury report goes out for the game. Last week, Jarius Wright stepped in for Jennings and scored two touchdowns and had 69 receiving yards on 3 catches.
There is little doubt that Jennings would love to be able to play against his former team. Hopefully, Jennings can clear all the tests and be active on Lambeau Field on Sunday.
