Good news for the Minnesota Vikings offense came yesterday, when center John Sullivan was officially cleared to play in the game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Sullivan suffered a concussion in the game against the Seattle Seahawks in the week prior and it was not for certain if he would pass the necessary tests in order to be able to be active this week. Concussions are always a tricky situation because sometimes they take a lot longer to recover from than many people think. He had to pass a series of tests in order to be cleared for this game.
Fortunately for Christian Ponder and Adrian Peterson, they will have their usual, solid starting center back for this game. Sullivan is one of the best centers in the NFL and despite having a good backup in Joe Berger, the Vikings would have missed his high level of play.
