Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson expected big things in his first visit to Lambeau Field. He thought that he wouldn’t be able to hear anything with how wild and crazy the crowd would be. Instead, he was disappointed in what he discovered.
“It’s really not that loud here,” Patterson said. “It wasn’t loud at all. I guess the crowd wasn’t into it like they should be. But once that overtime started, the crowd picked up a little bit.”
Patterson then compared Lambeau Field to the Metrodome, the Vikings home field in Minnesota.
“When we’re back in the Metrodome, it’s always rocking,” he said. “We’re louder, of course. Most definitely. We got the No. 1 fan base in the country.”
Fans in Minnesota will have to keep making Cordarrelle Patterson proud. Even though the Vikings are having a rough season, the fans make a big difference to the players who take pride in their efforts.
