It’s time to officially admit that Blair Walsh is a machine. An efficient kicking machine. In fact, he was so efficient on Sunday that he earned the title of NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his week 12 performance against the Green Bay Packers.
Walsh attempted four field goals in the game, and connected on all four. The distances of the kicks were 29, 35, 36, and 47 yards. He also added two extra points on the day. In total, that accounts for 14 of the Vikings total 26 points scored in the game.
This is Blair Walsh’s fourth time wining the award in just his second season. And it surely won’t be his last one, either.
