Cassel Named FedEx Air Player Of The Week

This year, we’ve seen Vikings player get awards for Special Teams Player of the Week, Ground Player of the Week, and numerous others.  Finally, Minnesota has received an award for their passing game.

It goes to Matt Cassel, who has been named the FedEx Air Player of the Week.  Cassel had an excellent game against the Philadelphia Eagles and led Minnesota to an improbable win on Sunday.  Here is his stat line through the air from that game according to Pro Football Reference:
