Congratulations are in order for kicker Morten Andersen. Today, he was named a finalist to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Many fans don’t remember Andersen’s time in Minnesota, and there’s a good reason for that. He was only a member of the Vikings for one season back in 2004 after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs prior to the start of the season.
Here are Andersen’s stats for the 2004 year with the Minnesota Vikings:
- 22 field goals attempted
- 18 field goals made
- 100% on field goals within 30 yards
- 45/45 on extra points
Congratulations once again to Morten Andersen on being named a finalist and good luck to him going forward in the voting.
