Although Jared Allen may not have been chasing the NFL record for sacks in a season this year, he still has a lot to be proud of.  He was named one of three finalists for the 2014 Bart Starr Award.

The Bart Starr Award is voted on by peers for the NFL players who best display leadership and character on and off the field.  Allen’s contributions to the community are well documented.  Not only are his donations to charity more than generous, but he also hosts many charitable activities throughout the year and operates the Homes For Wounded Warriors

The winner will be named at the annual Super Bowl Breakfast.

Allen wants to go to a winner, that’s leaves the Raiders out of the equation…possible him being a Bronco or stay a Vike.

He played for the Vikings for how long now, and we know you could never confuse them with winners. Get over it he’s leaving. Bu bye.
