I’ll admit, I’m not as familiar with the Pro Football Writers Association’s All-NFL awards as I am the All-Pro and Pro Bowl teams.  Still, that is no reason not to be excited about Vikings rookie wide receiver/kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson’s addition to the squad.

Patterson was named the All-NFL’s team’s kick returner as well as the same position for the All-NFC team.  Patterson shattered team records for kick returns this year as well as leading the NFL in nearly every return statistic.

Congratulations to Patterson on the honor.  Here is the full list of players named to the All-NFL and All-NFC Team.
