If you recall, the new stadium in Minnesota was in trouble because of a court case that would postpone the sale of bonds. We even released a simplified twitter exchange to help explain the situation.
Well, it seems as though the court case was successful in delaying the sale. The sale was scheduled to go down on January 13th and 14th, but it has been moved to Monday, January 27th now that this frivolous case has been dismissed.
It is good to know that the stadium construction will not be delayed any longer by a politician trying to get a few extra votes in the next election. Two weeks is enough time to waste when there are workers waiting for paychecks and actual important things to go through the Minnesota legal system.
Thank goodness this hurdle is over.
