Vikings Announce Full Coaching Staff (At Last)


The Vikings have at last announced their entire full coaching staff. As expected, Norv Turner and George Edwards are the coordinators. Mike Priefer was retained as special teams coach (also as we expected). George Stewart and Jeff Davidson stay on as wide receivers coach and offensive line coach respectively. Here is the full run down (with notes on the guys who may not be as familiar).

Head coach: Mike Zimmer

Offensive coordinator: Norv Turner

Defensive coordinator: George Edwards

Special teams coordinator: Mike Priefer

Assistant defensive line: Robb Akey

Offensive line: Jeff Davidson

Assistant special teams: Ryan Ficken (Retained)

Assistant defensive backs/quality control: Johnathan Gannon (Worked in Tennessee with Jerry Gray)

Defensive backs: Jerry Gray

Defensive assistant: Jeff Howard (Retained)

Assistant wide receivers/quality control: Klint Kubiak (Retained)

Defensive line: Andre Patterson

Coaching assistant: Drew Petzing (Former Yale outside linebackers coach)

Tight ends: Kevin Stefanski (Retained)

Wide receivers: George Stewart

Quarterbacks: Scott Turner

Running backs: Kirby Wilson

Linebackers: Adam Zimmer
