Watch Khalil Mack Go to Work Against Ohio State

Thanks to Mike Mayock, Khalil Mack is shooting up fans’ dream draft boards faster than a rocket.

What’s so great about this edge player from the unheralded University AT Buffalo? Well, he’s pretty much a terror rushing the passer. It’s not just speed with Mack, it’s power and technique, the way he uses his hands…all of it.

He’s been compared to Clay Matthews. Mike Mayock says he’s the best player in the draft. The way things are going he probably won’t be available for the Vikings at #8.

If he is available, the Vikings will have to look hard at taking him. He looks at first glance like a 3-4 OLB type strictly but the word on him is that his talents will translate to a 4-3 scheme where he would fit best as a Sam.

If you want a little bigger taste of Mr. Mack and what he brings to the table, check out this highlight reel of his pass rushing exploits last year against Ohio State. He pretty much terrorizes the Buckeyes’ offensive tackles.
