WWE's Bad News Barrett Takes A Dig At Vikings During Elimination Chamber

If you watch the WWE, you might be familiar with a character known as “Bad News Barrett”.  Barrett stands on a podium that ascends seemingly to the rafters and delivers bad news to either the fans or wrestlers of the WWE.

Sunday night, the WWE had a pay per view called the “Elimination Chamber” that was live from Minneapolis, Minnesota.  During this show, Bad News Barrett delivered several pieces of bad news.  One of Barrett’s bits of bad news hit a little too close to home for Vikings fans.

An electrical malfunction caused his podium to fail to rise, and he had a witty thing to say about it.

He said that “the electricians in Minnesota are as bad as their sorry excuse for an NFL team”.

Sure, it was a low blow, but he is supposed to be a guy that the fans love to hate, so it worked well on the home crowd in Minneapolis.  Hopefully the Vikings can turn things around next season and show Barrett and the rest of the world that they must be taken seriously.
