After John Carlson’s release from the Vikings earlier this week, a lot of people expected him to struggle to find a suitor because of his lack of production over the last couple years and his concussion history. However, the tight end found a suitor rather quickly.
According to a tweet from Ian Rapoport, he has signed on with the Arizona Cardinals. It is reported to be a 2 year deal worth 4.65 million dollars. The Cardinals are in need of offensive players to help take pressure of star Larry Fitzgerald.
Good luck to Carlson in Arizona and huge thanks go to him for working so hard here in Minnesota. Although things didn’t work out, he’s a classy guy who was a great role model to the other players on the team.
