Cornerback Chris Carr Retires

Cornerback Chris Carr has decided to retire from the NFL.

The Vikings brought in cornerback Chris Carr for the training camp prior to the 2012 season.  He was placed in a competition with other cornerbacks, but was released prior to the start of the regular season.

Carr spent a total of 9 seasons in the NFL.  He spent time with the Ravens, Chargers, Raiders, Titans, Saints and Vikings.  He ends his career with 230 total tackles, seven forced fumbles, 2.5 sacks and seven interceptions.

His retirement at the young age of 30.  We at The Viking Age would like to wish him the best of luck in whatever he decides to pursue in his future endeavors.
