Vikings Lineman Josh Samuda Suffers Horrible Ankle Injury During Workout

This is a player’s worst nightmare. You’re just doing regular workouts in the offseason, no pads, no nothing, and you suffer a horrific injury.

That is what happened to offensive lineman Josh Samuda at Tuesday morning’s workouts at Winter Park.

The media were invited to this particular workout session and Pioneer Press photographer Ben Garvin got shots of what happened to Samuda’s ankle.

That looks like a dislocation. Right now, there is no update on Samuda’s condition, according to Andrew Krammer.

And this had to happen on the one day media were allowed in the building.

Hopefully for Samuda, the injury isn’t as bad as it looks. Cause it looks bad. It looks potentially career-ending.

See Marcus Lattimore and what happened to him last year. maybe that’s why Clowney didn’t play like he did as a freshman?

I dont think its a career ending ankle injury esp if its just a dislocation. Take a steel plate and some screws to it and it will be as good as new. My steel plate allowed me to still join the military even after my football playing years were over.
