The awesome specs for the new Vikings Stadium just got a little bit more awesomer. And you have Zygi Wilf to thank.
Per Rochelle Olson, the Vikings say they will kick in an extra $1.2 million to purchase video screens that go above and beyond those originally proposed.
The stadium project called for an 88 foot by 50 foot scoreboard at the west end of the field, but that will now be upped to a truly Jerry Jonesian 120 feet by 68 feet.
The extra $1.2 million will also pay for “rear projection video walls” in the Fire and Ice Club. So premium customers will now have an even more wild visual experience. Why not just hand out free LSD to patrons? It would probably be cheaper.
Here’s hoping Zygi doesn’t experience buyers’ remorse after installing this insanely expensive video equipment. You know how it is. You shell out a few hundred for that awesome new TV, get it home, hook it up, think to yourself that you’ve never been so blissfully happy in your whole entire life.
And the first thing you see is a commercial for a much more awesome-looking TV and you just want to stab yourself.
