A.J. Jefferson Gets a Look From the Seahawks

When last we left A.J. Jefferson…he was getting cut by the Vikings just hours after being arrested for domestic assault.

No benefit of the doubt for A.J. Jefferson. No Chris Cook “wait and see” treatment from the Vikings.

That’s what happens when you’re a marginal NFL player.

Fast forward to now, and A.J. Jefferson looks like he’s ready to get his NFL career back on track. The former Cardinals cornerback reportedly had a workout with another team in the NFC West.

The Seattle Seahawks have taken a look at A.J. Jefferson.

If he needs a character reference, maybe Percy Harvin can put in a good word for him?

Just kidding. The Seahawks clearly don’t care about character. If you can contribute as a player, they want you.

Ah, but there’s the rub for A.J. Jefferson. Can a guy who was barely a fourth corner on the god-awful Vikings defense have any hope of cracking the Seahawks?

Maybe Seattle can get more out of Jefferson than Alan Williams did. Anyway, Jefferson is trying to get his life right and get back into the league.

Good luck to him, I guess. To be honest, I don’t really care if he plays again.
