Watch Teddy Bridgewater Surprise His Mom With a Pink Escalade (Video)

Here is a heartwarming little video to brighten up your Tuesday morning (if you can get past the fact that the video was produced by a car company as essentially a long-form advertisement, not to be cynical or anything).

When Teddy Bridgewater was a kid, he promised his mom that he would one day become a pro football player and buy her a pink Escalade, with or without spinning rims.

Bridgewater is not yet a pro football player, but it’s only a matter of time.

And guess what Teddy got for his mom?

Every time you see Teddy Bridgewater, you are impressed by the way he carries himself. He obviously has the poise to be a professional quarterback.

Does he have the arm the make all the throws? Does he have the body to absorb the shots from defensive players?

Can his skinny knees hold up?

So many unanswered questions. But at least his mom got a new Escalade. And got to meet Robin Roberts. So even if Teddy busts, something cool came out of the whole thing.

This kids the real deal. No he probably won’t be the next Johnny Unitas but he’s going to be a great starting QB who has what it takes to lead whatever team he’s playing on to victory.

What a great example of how a man should show love and respect to his mother. Makes me think he is a bit too soft to be a great leader. I have to back to the tape and look for that. May change my grade. Good luck to Teddy in all sincerity, I hope no matter where he goes he finds success, and shows haters and doubters that no matter what they think, doesn’t change the fact that this kid can play.
