Vikings Waive UDFAs Conor Boffeli, Travis Partridge

The Vikings journey has ended early for a pair of UDFA pick ups. We profiled them in capsule fashion. They showed up at rookie camp. They got cut.

So long to former Iowa offensive lineman Conor Boffeli and Missouri Western QB Travis Partridge. The UDFAs were waived on Monday to make way for linebackers Mike Zimmer (no relation) and Dom DeCicco.

The release of Partridge means that Christian Ponder is once again dead last on the Vikings’ QB depth chart. Unless you want to count Jerick McKinnon who played some triple-option QB before converting to running back.

The Vikings still have 14 of their 16 UDFAs under contract, including everyone’s favorite would-be stud tight end, A.C. Leonard.

Will the Vikings get to turn up the A.C. in 2014? Let’s hope.

We know they won’t be serving up any Partridge.

Zimmer has said that Teddy is dead last on the depth chart ~ Because he is a rookie who hasn’t done anything yet ~ Hopefully Teddy will play outstanding ~ I feel the same way about Barr as you do Teddy ~ Hopefully we are both right ~
