UDFA defensive tackle Isame Faciane was born in Louisiana and went to school in Florida but he’s having no problem adjusting to Minnesota. He’s already discovered how great the fishing is in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
Faciane doesn’t just catch the fish, he cooks them too, having learned the culinary arts from his grandmother. He’s multi-faceted.
Hopefully I haven’t jinxed the young man by making him one of my players to watch. As a UDFA, he’s walking a pretty precarious line.
But with several defensive line jobs seemingly up for grabs, the talented Faciane has a real chance. D-line coach Andre Patterson worked with Faciane his senior year in college and obviously likes what the young man brings to the table.
Look out Sharrif Floyd, Isame Faciane is coming for you. And he can cook jambalaya. Which you can’t eat now because you’re a vegetarian.
