Chad Greenway Helps Two People Stuck On Lake Minnetonka

Chad Greenway doesn’t run around looking for chances to be a hero, but when the chance to be a hero comes along, Chad Greenway doesn’t shy away.

Monday, Chad Greenway put on his hero hat and dove into the stormy waters of Lake Minnetonka to help two people who had gotten into some kind of trouble with their boat.

KARE11 will have more details later on tonight. All we know right now is that Greenway and the two people are okay. I don’t know about the boat.

Remember this day the next time you think about giving Greenway crap. The next time you feel the urge to go on Twitter and point out how overrated he is, just keep in mind, that dude is a hero.

Take your arguments about artificially inflated tackle stats, lack of impact plays and terrible coverage and stuff them. Chad Greenway saves people. It’s about more than football. It’s about life.

It’s about giving back to the community. It’s about being a heck of a guy.
