Chad Greenway's Dramatic Lake Minnetonka Rescue (Video)

Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway heroically rescued two people who got in trouble with their boat out on Lake Minnetonka yesterday. KARE11 just happened to be in the vicinity shooting a story when the drama unfolded, so there’s video. And here is that dramatic footage.

Truly a harrowing experience for those two folks. Thank goodness Greenway was there or I don’t know what would have happened. They might have been stuck in that same spot for, like, several minutes. They might have even run out of beer. Oh my God, imagine being on a lake and running out of beer.

Horrible. Chad Greenway is a true hero today. He behaved like a true Viking. As in, the opposite of a Packer. A Packer would’ve just stood there and watched those people suffer. Packers don’t like getting their feet wet.

Vikings rush in where Packers fear to tread. It’s a saying that I just invented. Seriously though, don’t go out on your boat when the water’s rough and you don’t really know what you’re doing. For real. Chad Greenway might not always be there to save you.

The Vikings will stage anything to make Greenway look good (ie those people he “rescued” looked like actors). Chad should be working on his speed on the field and not on speed boats at Lake Minnetonka (site of the infamous Viking’s Love Boat scandal). Chad better realize he will get no sympathy if he plays like he did last year.

you’re a tool… he was at home when thus happened, so practice wasnt even happening, and he is one if the best LBs in the league…134 tackles, 3 sacks and a pick is pretty good if you ask me… maybe if he had even a decent LB lined up with him, he wouldn’t have to try to cover every single play.. 6 different LBs started at the OLB and MLB positions, and none were any good…Greenway is a beast!!!!! get over the hate…
