It’s always nice to see football players holding camps and opportunities for folks to meet some of the players of their favorite teams.  Some players seem to get more attention when they host events, and that is exactly what is happening with one event hosted by a Minnesota Vikings player.

Linebacker Larry Dean and friends will be hosting his second annual football and cheer camp on June 28th.  The camp will be held at the 8th Street Middle School in Tifton, Georgia.  The camp is for 3rd to 8th graders who are looking to work on some skills on the field as a football player or on the sidelines as a cheerleader.

Sign up for the camp is available until 8 am Eastern Time on the day of the event.  The camp will begin at 9 am and will last approximately three and a half hours.

The camp is funded by the Larry Dean Foundation, which will bring in some “friends” to help Larry Dean work with the kids.  This is a great opportunity to get advice from experts in the realm of football and cheerleading.

Although Larry Dean may not be a household name in the NFL, he is a player who Minnesota Vikings fans should be familiar with.  Dean will be entering the NFL season competing for a starting or rotational role on the defensive side of the ball and is a mainstay on special teams.

Thank you to Larry Dean and his friends for putting on this football and cheerleading camp.  Hopefully it will be a huge success.
