Everson Griffen Marries Long Time Girlfriend

This offseason has been great for Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen.  He signed a huge deal to stay with the team and now has become a husband.  He became a father in April of 2013, and now has completed the family by marrying his long time girlfriend and fiancee, Tiffany Brandt.

While it was announced much before I got hold of the information, the moment it all became more real is when a photo featuring Everson Griffen, his new wife Tiffany, and Vikings left Tackle Matt Kalil was shared on Kalil’s instagram account.

Here is the photo from Matt Kalil’s instagram account:

The words written accompanying the photo are as follows:

Congrats to Everson and Tiffany!! #SaturdayWedding#FightOn”.

The former 4th round draft pick in 2010 (#100 overall), Everson Griffen enters the 2014 NFL season with a lot to prove on the football field.  He will be taking over Jared Allen, who some consider the best pass rusher in the NFL.  In limited action as backup and situational player, Griffen has been very impressive, but this will be his first year slated to be the team’s starter.

But I bet none of those thoughts were on his mind when he was marrying his lovely new wife and celebrating the occasion.  Here is a photo from Griffen’s personal Twitter account of him and the woman he has agreed to spend the rest of his life with:

Of course, we at The Viking Age want to congratulate Everson Griffen, his new wife Tiffany, and their beautiful family on the weekend nuptials.
