3. Rhett Ellison

Ellison was drafted to be the second-coming of Jim Kleinsasser, and though he hasn’t been quite that dominating as a run blocker, he has shown that he belongs in the NFL as a blocking tight end.

Though Ellison’s greatest value is as an in-line TE, there’s no doubt that he can play fullback if necessary, just like Kleinsasser before him. If the Vikings ultimately move on from Jerome Felton, Ellison’s multi-positional potential will likely be a big factor in making that happen.
