Teddy Bridgewater Nominated For GMC Never Say Never Moment

On Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings were able to defeat the Washington Redskins despite trailing near the end of the game. Because of this, Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been nominated for the GMC Never Say Never Moment of week 9.

With the Vikings trailing by 5 points in the 4th quarter, Bridgewater led the Vikings on a 12 play, 73 yard drive that resulted in a Matt Asiata touchdown and a successful two point conversion. This drive was the deciding factor in this game, allowing the Vikings to win by a score of 29-26.
On that game winning drive, Bridgewater completed 5 of his 7 attempted passes for 64 yards, converting a big third down opportunity through the air to Jennings. He connected with 4 different receivers on the 5 catches, keeping the Redskins defense guessing.
Bridgewater will face some tough competition for the GMC Never Say Never Moment. Here are the two players that he is up against:
- Laurinaitis recovered a Kaepernick fumble on the goal line to secure a Rams win against the 49ers. He also added one sack on Colin Kaepernick during the game.
- Sanchez entered the game for the Eagles after an injury to Nick Foles. He went on to throw two touchdowns in the 31-21 win over the Houston Texans. This moved the Eagles into first place in the NFC East.
