NFL Schedule Release Set For Tuesday Night

facebooktwitterreddit

You might want to cancel any prior engagements set for Tuesday night from 6-9 CT, because that’s when the NFL plans to release their full 2015 schedule.

The schedule release will come with all the usual hoopla via NFL Network, but you can just follow along on Twitter if you prefer.

It’s highly important that you know the details of the schedule at the precise moment they become available. You really don’t want to miss out on knowing that right away.

What can we expect from the Vikings’ schedule release? I have several predictions.

1. The Vikings will have two games each against the Packers, Lions and Bears.

2. The Vikings will have 8 home games and 8 road games.

3. The Vikings will play the Seahawks, Rams, Chiefs, Chargers and Giants at home.

4. The Vikings will play the Cardinals, 49ers, Broncos, Raiders and Falcons on the road.

5. The Vikings will get fewer prime time games than fans expect and fans will b-tch about the team being neglected.

6. People will write stupid posts predicting the outcome of each game.

7. People like me will tweet about how stupid it is to predict season record based on a schedule.

8. Paul Allen will find at least 15 winnable games.

9. Much will be made about an early stretch of “easy” or “difficult” opponents.

10. Much will be read into the positioning of the bye week.

11. The number of December home games will be noted along with reminders of how bad the weather gets in Minnesota in December.

It’s gonna be fun.
