Stefon Diggs Shows Off His Nifty Moves In Practice Video

Somehow or another, this clip from a team made practice video found its way onto the internet. These things are not supposed to be on the internet but…here it is.

In the video, we get a taste of rookie wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ ability to cut and move and dodge and dash in the open field.

Watch as a pair of hapless scrubs attempts to tackle Stefon Diggs in an OTA practice. Even though no one is in pads, this is still a pretty impressive display of pure athletic shiftiness.

This is Stefon Diggs’ MO. This is what he does. This is why he’s viewed as a potential punt and kick returner for the Vikings. This is also why some people think he will ultimately take over as the #3 receiver for the Vikings.

Combine Diggs’ open field making-guys-look-like-idiots skills with his good hands and polished route-running and you have a recipe for a real weapon out of the slot.

Cordarrelle Patterson brings some of the same things to the table as Diggs, while also possessing better size and better pure downfield speed, but we know how Patterson struggles in other areas.

Again, this video was made in OTAs with two scrubs trying to make the tackle, but it still has to get you sort of pumped about what Stefon Diggs brings to the team.

We know Diggs is a guy who eats, drinks and breathes football. He’s not a spotlight-loving slacker like Patterson.

Get excited fans. We have a new weapon in the arsenal.

(BTW, would anyone be shocked if it turned out the team leaked this video on purpose?)
