Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson have been voted to Pro Football Writers of America’s All-NFL Team.

When the regular season is over, news sources put together their best “end of year” type articles. That involves regular things like the NFL’s All-Pro Team, ranking plays of the year, and, of course, the unavoidable plethora of NFL Draft information.

One of the best end of year products come from the Pro Football Writers of America when they hold a vote to determine their All-NFL Team. It might not be a football all-star game like the Pro Bowl or hold as much significance as the All-Pro Team, but the PFWOA are a very knowledgeable group of individuals that typically put together a solid team of players.

This year’s PFWOA All-NFL Team includes two members of the Minnesota Vikings.

Running back Adrian Peterson was the obvious choice after leading the NFL in rushing. During the 2015 NFL season, Peterson gained 1,402 yards on the ground and helped bring the Minnesota Vikings to the playoffs and become the NFC North Champions. It is his fourth time being named to the All-NFL team.

The other man on the All-NFL Team is special teams return man Cordarrelle Patterson. Patterson earned his second nod All-NFL Team spot following a season were he scored two kick return touchdowns and led the league with 31.8 yards per kickoff return.

Congratulations to Adrian Peterson, Cordarrelle Patterson and the Minnesota Vikings for representing the PFWOA All-NFL team.
