Minnesota Vikings name PA announcer at U.S. Bank Stadium

The Minnesota Vikings announced that Brainerd native Alan Roach will be the public address announcer for the franchise’s games at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Fans who attend live Minnesota Vikings games at U.S. Bank Stadium will hear a voice voice over the public address system this year, as the team has hired a lifelong fan of the team and well-versed individual to handle that duty going forward.

As announced on Vikings.com, the team has hired Alan Roach speak to the crowd. This includes player introductions, big play celebrations, helping to hype the crowd on third downs, and standard stadium announcements.

Vikings Vice President of Content and Production Bryan Harper is very excited about this hire and feels that Roach’s voice with match well with what the Minnesota Vikings are trying to accomplish at U.S. Bank Stadium.

"“I would say that’s when we first got a taste of his capabilities. Learning that he was from Minnesota and a lifelong Vikings fan opened up additional conversation. He’s clearly a talented guy. He has a booming voice and should fit well from a fan-engagement standpoint in U.S. Bank Stadium.”"
