The Minnesota Vikings have a new partner for the upcoming headquarters and practice facility in Eagan, as Twin City Orthopedics signed on to the project.

With the recent groundbreaking of the new headquarters and practice facility for the Minnesota Vikings, it isn’t shocking that the team announced a partner for the new facility. However, the partner they did get could very likely have been the best possible option available.

Twin City Orthopedics is one of the premiere medical organizations in the world. Offering numerous specialists and tons of programs, their heath care services draw people from long distances to the facility.

TCO joined the Minnesota Vikings, the City of Eagan, Crawford Architects and Kraus-Anderson Construction Company at the celebration for the official groundbreaking of the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan, Minnesota.

Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf is very excited about this opportunity. According to Vikings.com, the 20 year deal between the two major Minnesota powerhouses helps to establish the facility as not only a state of the art practice facility but also the a home of modern medical treatment for the team.

"“Following the recent opening of U.S. Bank Stadium, today’s groundbreaking marks another significant milestone in Minnesota Vikings history,” said Wilf. “Constructing this world-class facility and formalizing the partnership with TCO furthers our goals of building this football team for sustained success, developing long-term business relationships, and ensuring our organization remains a strong community partner.”"

The big question on people’s minds right now is when the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center will become the home of training camp and the team’s headquarters. Wilf isn’t ready to establish a timetable on that, but does say that it will happen eventually.

"“That’s down the road, if we do move at all. I know Mankato’s been great. It’s been our home for 50-odd years. They do an unbelievable job down there, and that’s why we’ve been there that long. But all of that will be determined down the road.”"
