Courtyard hotels and former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen came together to make Father’s Day special for one fan at U.S. Bank Stadium.

There is no way to avoid commercials in today’s society. Whether it is advertisements on billboards or television during a Minnesota Vikings game, we are exposed to them every single day of our lives.

However, some advertisements are great. Courtyard partnered with former pass rush specialist Jared Allen to help make Father’s Day extra special for Prentice Kugler by giving him a tour of U.S. Bank Stadium with an extra surprise.

Here is the advertisement from courtyard as shared on the official YouTube channel of the hotel chain:

The video with Kugler’s daughters and his wife talking about why their dad is great while a slideshow of photos showing them together is played. They talk about him spending time with his family, helping them through hard times, and making great experiences.

The scene shifts to Minnesota, where his daughters surprise him with an all-access tour of U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Vikings. After arriving, he is surprised to find out that Jared Allen will be his tour guide for the day!

Allen takes Kugler through the stadium and into some more exclusive parts of the facility, including the team’s locker room and out on the field. He was also told he’d also be looking at the Vikings Hall of Fame, where another surprise waited for him.

Upon arriving, he saw a “Hall of Fame Dad” exhibit built entirely for him. Inside, clips of his past, photos of his family, and more were on display. There was also a screen set up to show videos of his daughters and wife talking about their awesome family member.

Afterwards, the rest of Kugler’s family came out from behind the exhibit, and his father was holding a custom Vikings jersey with his name on it. But the final reveal was his wife with Super Bowl tickets thanks to Courtyard.

It’s great to see an awesome father get the surprise of a lifetime, and being able to share this great story on Father’s Day seems highly appropriate. Huge thanks to the Vikings, U.S. Bank Stadium, Jared Allen, Courtyard, and everyone who helped make the occasion possible.
