Seems we have a full-fledged retired player feud going on. It all started when Cris Carter claimed he once put a bounty on Bill Romanowski after Romanowski threatened to take him out before a game. The bounty wasn’t about hurting Romanowski but was purely in the interest of self-defense, Carter explained. And Romanowski’s response?

It never happened.

“I think he [Cris Carter] made this up to stay relevant…in this league we have now,” Romanowski told Dan Patrick.

Ooooh. He said that thing and then that guy came back and said that thing.

Is Celebrity Boxing still a thing? Cause I wouldn’t mind watching Carter and Romanowski settle this in the ring. On second thought, scratch that. Romanowski would tear Cris Carter limb-from-limb.

Let’s have Romanowski fight Jose Canseco instead, and let Carter fight Octomom. That would be some good television right there people. Better than more Minnesota Senate stadium debate, anyway.
