]]> The Vikings reverted to their pattern from the first two games of the season – shaky in the first half, dominating in the third quarter.  With help from some terrible playcalling and uninspired defense by the Rams, the Vikes were easily able to pull away for the 38-10 victory.

Another good game from Brett Favre, 18/24, 232 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT before being yanked for Tarvaris Jackson in the fourth.  Adrian Peterson didn’t exactly light it up numbers-wise in this game, but he did score 2 TDs, and looked like he might get rolling in the second half when the score got out of hand and Chilly removed him.

Big ups to the following Vikings:  Jared Allen (2 fumble recoveries), Benny Sapp (several big tackles and a tipped ball in the endzone), Favre, Sidney Rice (3 catches for 61 yards including an acrobatic 47 yard reception to set up one of the TDs), Chad Greenway, Naufahu Tahi (a career-long 32-yard reception from T-Jack in garbage time).

Big downs to Donnie Avery for a truly idiotic touchdown dance with his team behind 31-10.
